Welcome to my world.

So, it's official, I am now a blogger. Jeez, it took long enough, right?! Thanks Vanessa for inspiring me. Through your blog I somehow feel closer to you and your family, despite our distance. I'm not sure yet what my plans are for this blog but I think the more random the better. I'll just go with the flow. So, come on flow, let's go. 

Two days ago our daughter Mia started walking. It really is the coolest feeling watching your child walk. For me, it is the first sign of independence. Who knew that independence came with a fat lip.

So, to commemorate this milestone, we went shoe shopping today! I was so excited to put her in something, oh I dunno, stylish perhaps? Oh, how I was mistaken. Unless your definition of style includes white high top lunch lady shoes! Work it Mia. Work it. After a fun filled day at the mall we rushed home for lunchtime, naptime, taptime, dinnertime, playtime, bathtime, quietime,  booktime, talktime, praytime and FINALLY sleepytime. Sounds crazy, huh?! Welcome to my world of controlled chaos. I wouldn't have it any other way.
